4 Charles Eames DSS chairs for Vitra, Poppy Red

Legendary eames dss (dining side on stacking base) chairs. This is a version from the 2000s where vitra europe produced and distributed the chairs. Stackable, the dss was designed in 1955 and has equipped a multitude of stadiums, schools and hospitals. Probably the most emblematic of the eames chairs. The hulls are in excellent condition. The shock mounts are original. All covers feature the vitra logo and the words "design charles & ray eames" molded into the chair. In 1957, vitra obtained the licence to produce herman miller's design objects from herman miller. The silver-grey chrome bases are in excellent condition. The shells are poppy red (bright orange) which gives a bright touch in a living room no lack but slight marks and traces of wear (lighter) on the seats. See photos.
