poster for the Bal Bambara des Quat' Z'arts - Paris 1937

Last organized in 1966, the ball of quat'z'arts brought together students in architecture, painting, sculpture and engraving. It was a great carnival party carefully prepared, every spring and since 1892, by the students of the school of fine arts in paris. It was a real carnival in the streets of paris where paraded costumed hundreds of students unleashed, and which ended in big party can sometimes give rise to some overflows.  Woman entry card drawn by pierre labadie about 19/35 cm. 70/52 cm frame.
