⸻ 🏺 Description of the item. Antique bowl / trinket dish in engraved crystal with a solid silver mount, hallmarked. A very elegant antique bowl in finely engraved crystal with a floral decoration (leaves and arabesques) mounted on a richly chased solid silver base. The mount features a typical rococo/floral decoration of decorative silverware from the late 19th to early 20th century. The crystal is wheel-engraved with a delicate design of stylised foliage. The entire piece is hallmarked for solid silver (the hallmark is located under the edge of the mount). A refined decorative object that can serve as: • a trinket dish. • a sweet bowl. • a centrepiece. • or simply as a display/collection item. Condition. • Good overall condition. • Note: small chip on the edge of the crystal (visible in the photo) and micro-scratches from use on the bottom. • The silver mount is in very good condition with a lovely patina.
