Set of four dining room chairs designed by pierre mennen for pastoe, 1972 netherlands. The chairs, model sp3005, have an experimental frame of molded off-white pvc, a seat and back of thermoformed wood, covered with black alcantara (not original). The chairs come from a period in which pastoe briefly experimented with plastic frames. The seat and backrest are clamped between the frame. Good vintage condition. Light signs of use on the frame. The plastic frame has slight discoloration over time. Alcantarra upholstery is neat.
