Former "burac" secretary desk from Burwood, dating from the 1950s. Rare for sale, this desk rests on 8 feet. It has 3 drawers and 1 shelf on the left and a curtain box with incoming and outgoing filing cabinet depending on whether the curtain is lowered or raised. This very clever and practical mechanism testifies to the quality of Burwood desks. Made of solid wood, it is covered with an English leatherette typical of the period, surrounded by zinc.
