2 antique Chinese wooden panels

Two antique chinese panels brought back from a stay in china. Decorative elements in stained solid wood. Carved and openwork decorations typical of provincial housing and ancient traditional chinese crafts (characteristic of water towns such as wuzhen and xitang). Work from the end of the 19th or beginning of the 20th century: cabinetwork pegged to the frame. Excellent condition for their age with some normal wear and tear. Height = 59.5 cm plus 5 cms for the patinated brass fastener. Width = 21 cm thickness = 3 cm.
