Set of four flat plates made of genuine stoneware from the Sarreguemines factory (France). These pieces belong to a production from the 1970s-1980s, a period of renewed interest in rustic tableware and stoneware material. The stamp on the back indicates "Genuine Stoneware - Sarreguemines - Dishwasher Safe". The plates feature a speckled beige background and a lithographed central decoration of stylised thistles in sienna brown. The shape is simple, with a clean rim. This lot embodies the "Country Casual" and Brutalist aesthetic of the late 20th century. Precise dimensions: Diameter: 25 cm. Height: 3 cm. Detailed condition: The plates are in very good vintage condition. The stoneware is sound, with no chips, cracks, or flaking around the edges. The thistle decorations are clear and well-preserved on each piece. The surface shows very light and normal signs of use, consistent with age and moderate use.
