Fine 19th century painting, the violin master

Cod. 10911. Ancient flemish painting from the second half of the 19th century. Oil on canvas artwork, depicting an interior scene, music teacher with little girl, of good pictorial quality. Painting of beautiful size and proportion adorned with an important contemporary frame, in wood and plaster, sculpted and gilded. Gilding resumed in some places during the 20th century. The music teacher is holding a violin while teaching the young student, who is reading a score (see photo). Impressionist painting, expertly characterized by an excellent use of chiaroscuro and the use of light (see photo). Work that underwent conservative restoration and color restoration in some places during the 20th century. Overall in good condition. Sight size h 49 X w 60 cm.
