Thonet Canned bistro chair N°14 1/2 circa 1900

Thonet chair n°14 in 1/2 format (or kleine stühle / "small chair") appeared in 1885 at Thonet in order to optimize seating capacities in public establishments. Seat diameter 37 cm, - total height: 88 cm - seat height: 46 cm. Original option: side buttresses that contribute to its longevity. Thonet stamp under each seat. Very good general condition and patina of experience - tone of walnut-light origin. The canning has been redone to nine in manual with 6 wires. We can equip this chair free of charge with screwed skates (origin Germany), adapted by their material to the coating of the room where it will be used. Work done after purchase.
