Major Louis Kalff model office lamp

This large Tabel lamp is another famous and well-made design by Louis Kalff, made by Philips. This specific model is called major. It was replaced in the 1970s by what would become the next icon for Louis Kalff: Model Timor. The hue of the lamp mimics the design of the evoluon, for which Louis Kalff was the architect. It has a diameter of just over 39 centimeters, or 15.5".. The lamp is 54 centimetres (21.25") tall. The lampshade also has narrow slits that create a wonderful effect when the lamp is lit in a dark room. Given its age, this lamp is in very good condition. It has a small paint hack and the tiniest bumps. Of course, it is fully functional. The lamp works with a regular E27 bulb, 60W max. A mirror bulb is recommended. Suitable for EU and US specifications.
