Blonde oak chest of drawers with 5 drawers, France circa 1950.

Superb small chest of drawers known as a "Chiffonnier" from around 1950. Made in France, entirely in oak and golden blonde oak veneer, it consists of 5 drawers with double bronze handles and rests on a very beautiful compass leg. Width 76 cm, height 118.5 cm, depth 43 cm. Of very high quality and in perfect condition with no scratches or wood chips, there is just a small mark on the front of the top, probably more of a knot in the wood than a stain, with no impact on the overall aesthetics (see last photo). Ideal for an entrance to store keys and bags, this chiffonnier would also be suitable in a bedroom or dressing room to store items such as lingerie. Not to be missed!!!.
