Very pretty basket bag from the 1950s, made of natural rattan and woven black plastic. Its flared shape, large handle, and two flaps give it a particularly elegant silhouette. The contrast between the natural weaving and the black braiding adds a very modern, almost couture graphic touch. Its shape is reminiscent of the old sewing boxes from the 19th century.
