Charming little vintage glazed ceramic teapot, made in Czechoslovakia. Its round and compact shape, combined with a graphic brown and beige gradient airbrushed decoration, makes it a fine example of Eastern European design from the 1960s and 1970s. A rare modernist triangular motif and a warm hue evoke the softened brutalist aesthetic of period pottery—both geometric and organic. Stamped Made in Czechoslovakia under the base. Height 9 cm, handle-to-spout length 14.5 cm, diameter 9 cm, depth 6.5 cm. Beautiful vintage condition, glossy glaze, a chip on the inner rim of the teapot, and a hairline crack on the lid handle (see photos). A blend of Scandinavian design and Central European craftsmanship for a cozy mid-century feel.
