Superb modernist monoxyle pitcher/vase, deeply inspired by the organic and fluid shapes of the famous French designer Alexandre Noll. This sculptural piece is entirely hand-carved from a single solid block of high-quality hardwood (olive or walnut), showcasing beautiful natural knots and a rich patina. An exceptional decorative object for Mid-Century Modern, Minimalist, or Wabi-Sabi interiors. Condition: Good overall vintage aesthetic. As shown in the detailed photos, there is a natural shrinkage crack that runs down the back and crosses the lower attachment of the handle, which has been partially consolidated in the past. This flaw is typical of aged solid wood and does not compromise the stability of the object (the front profile remains impeccable and flawless). Dimensions: Max height 26 cm|Base 7.5 cm|Max hole diameter 9.3 cm|Approx. Depth 10.8 cm|Weight: 600 g. Careful and secure shipping guaranteed.
