This sculptural piece is entirely hand-carved from a single solid block of high-quality hardwood (olive or walnut), showcasing beautiful natural knots and a rich patina. An exceptional decorative object for Mid-Century Modern, Minimalist, or Wabi-Sabi interiors. Condition: Good overall vintage aesthetic. As shown in the detailed photos, there is a natural shrinkage crack that runs down the back and crosses the lower attachment of the handle, which has been partially consolidated in the past.
