The warm amber of this large Murano glass solar sphere is typical of the Murano Mazzega style from the 1970s... Ideal for warming up this chilly winter! Crowning the chrome base, the metal arc with wood-like inserts surrounds the globe like a world map. The glass is opal white at its base and gradually lightens towards the top, where it becomes orange like molten material. A magnificent play of light, evoking a sun in the mist. The globe is large, giving the lamp a beautiful presence. As this is a unique handmade piece, the gradient and shape of the glass are specific to each model.
