Domino game in its box Made in Germany 1930

An old domino set presented in its original wooden box with a sliding lid illustrated with "Domino". The dominos are made of moulded black composition with inlaid white dots and ornamental relief decoration on the back. This type of manufacturing was common in European productions in the early 20th century. The original label and the mention "Made in Germany" help date this game to around the 1930s. The wooden box and its vintage typography also give it a lovely decorative character. It can certainly be used for playing, but it also serves as a beautiful vintage object for a library, coffee table, or curiosity cabinet.
