Jacques blin (1920-1995) was a french ceramist. An aeronautical engineer by training, he decided to devote himself fully to ceramics, his passion, by opening his workshop in 1954. His creations are characterized by fresco motifs of fantastic animals, but also of everyday life, reminiscent of the parietal art of prehistoric men. Jacques blin's decorations are imagined by the painter jean rustin with whom he collaborates, and obtained by the technique of intaglio (engraving on dry earth). This table lamp has pretty shades of enamels: soft shades of blues and greens that animate a farandole of small birds, as in a cloud. It is a poetic decorative object, characteristic of j. Blin's production. Height 15cm without lampshade h with lampshade 27cm diameter with lampshade 25cm.
