Monolithic Orcio, XIX century Italy

Here is the biggest of the five monolithic orcios we salvaged from some of the most remote areas of southern italy. These monumental terracotta vases were once used to store olive oil and date back to the late XIX century. Texture and irregular shapes is what makes these pieces absolutely unique.
