Superb pair of vases made from British shell casings from the First World War (QF 3-inch 20 cwt gun). Handcrafted floral relief engraving, typical of trench art. Rare and historical pieces, dated 1916 and 1917, visible markings (RL, broad arrow, etc.). Vase with crown-shaped top in tribute with the Crown of England. No similar model on the market. Height: 37 cm Diameter: 11 cm Very good general condition, beautiful original patina.
