Murano XXL Coupe 50cm - Sommerso Amethyst & Turquoise - Vintage Design

Exceptional piece of Murano art glass (Italy) from the 1960s, made using the complex "Sommerso" technique (submerged glass). This spectacular centrepiece, with an organic shape and four elongated branches, showcases refined chromatic work: an electric turquoise heart enveloped in deep amethyst purple, all captured in a thick mass of colourless crystal. The refraction of light on the edges highlights the vibrant contrast between the colours. Highlights: • Unusual dimensions: At 50 cm in length, this piece has a rare sculptural presence, ideal for a Mid-Century Modern or contemporary interior. • Organic "Starfish" design: Its four hand-stretched branches evoke marine shapes, emblematic of Flavio Poli's work. • Quality craftsmanship: Base perfectly ground and polished flat, a sign of high-quality artisanal work (type Seguso / Flavio Poli). • Condition: Excellent vintage condition, the crystal has retained all its transparency and original brilliance.
