Superb and rare handcrafted creation in the form of books - india - 1970s. Each piece is unique! Jewel box with elephants, richly decorated with geometric patterns and volutes on silver iron plates, pushed back by hand. Dressing in thick velvety purple fabric and soft to the touch. Wooden interior structure. Four compartments (10 cm X 10 cm) foldable, accommodate jewelry and ornaments. A removable tubular structure receives the rings. A small rectangular mirror completes the set. Side clasp with hole for padlock. Four little feet. Excellent condition: no accidents or mishaps, even minor. Note only tiny scratches not very visible (see last photo) Impeccable mirror and fabric. Opens and closes perfectly, without any play.
