Antique naturalistic engraving depicting a parrot. Based on the work of the english naturalist george edwards "a natural history of uncommon birds" (1743 -1751). This illustration was published in 1745, page 174. Engraving dating from the nineteenth century. Engraving in a beautiful state of conservation. The mirror frame presents traces of time giving it a unique imprint. No cracks. Noted slight traces on the edges of the frame. Height: 28 cm. Width: 19 cm. Depth: 2 cm.
