Old plate flat Carmen Earth iron decoration dragonfly, Sarreguemines. 1875 - 1900 in good condition, lack or cracks, a few scratches. Diameter 23 cm. Land of iron (source wikipedia) the land of iron is a trade name designating a ceramic fine earthenware, close to China, which is mixed of feldspar and kaolin, to make it whiter and more resistant. She appears in France around 1770, is really spreading at the time of the ceramic, to reach its peak around 19001.
