Impressive ancient shipping trunk by Einbrodt & Kalb, Berlin. Full of character and style, with maker's mark Einbrodt & Kalb, Berlin. The chest can be used for storage or just have year unusual statement piece. Heavy chest of very fine quality, that when it was new, must have been very expensive and used by the wealthy. Features of the trunk include metal edgings, metal locks, studs, leather handles, base and wheeled copper gilt original drawers and maker's mark. Condition: cleaned and polished, but not refurbished. H 97 cm. B 76 cm. D 41 cm.
