Ib Kofod-Larsen for OPE Möbler (Olof Persson Fåtöljindustri), ‘Samso’ lounge chair, brown aniline leather, rosewood, Sweden, ca. 1958. This rare lounge chair was designed by famed Danish architect and designer Ib Kofod-Larsen (1921-2003) and manufactured by OPE Möbler (Olof Persson Fåtöljindustri) in the city of Jonkoping, Sweden, in the late 1950s. The chair’s frame is made from exquisite rosewood, and it features loose cushions in original brown aniline leather. Dimensions: H 72.5 cm, W 70 cm, D 65 cm, SH 43 cm. H 28.54 in, W 27.56 in, D 25.6 in, SH 16.93 in. Condition: In good original condition, with wear consistent with age and use.
