Commode Louis XV straw marquetry

Commode louis XV style restored. The entire piece of furniture has been repainted with an "old white" chalk paint that gives it a special texture and vintage rendering. It has been protected by a matte varnish, based on ceramic in order to offer it the best possible protection. The facades of the 3 drawers have been inlaid with rye straw, placed in chevrons with this elegant and bright green, which will change according to the light. The magic of straw means that depending on where you look at the furniture, the reflections change and the patterns appear or disappear. The handles were also repainted, anti-rust treated, then varnished. Unique furniture, french artisanal realization.
