Pair of H-227 armchairs designed by Jindřich Halabala for UP Závody Brno in Czechoslovakia in the 1930s. This model is a well-known example of interwar functionalist design with Art Deco influences. The seats and backs have been newly upholstered in fabric, complementing the warm tone of the wood.
