Set of 4 Rococo/Louis XV carved wooden lounge chairs

Set of 4 antique rocaille / Louis XV style chairs in carved wood - original floral fabric. Charming set of four antique rocaille / Louis XV style lounge chairs, probably dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. Each piece has a richly carved solid wood frame, with scroll, foliage and shell motifs typical of the French Baroque style. The padded seats and backs are covered in an original floral fabric in soft tones (faded pinks, greens and beiges). The medallion back, the curved lines of the legs and the worked finishes make them real pieces of character, ideal for a romantic, vintage or shabby chic decoration. Condition: Two chairs have a small discreet tear on the fabric (corner of the seat, see photo). The others are in good general condition. The seat fabric would benefit from cleaning or light repair according to taste. Solid and stable structures.
