Vintage French Aubusson-style tapestry by Jules Pansu, dating from the 1970s/80s. This beautiful and decorative tapestry, modelled after an 18th-century example, hangs in the Château de Chevreuse. It depicts a romantic view of a castle with two herons in a stream. It is titled 'Le Lignon' and made by the renowned French company Point de L'Halluin. Tapestries from this company are always provided with a certificate and numbered 1775 on the back. Hanging strips are also included on the back.
