Georges frydman (1924-?) was a french designer and architect. Heir to le corbusier, his production testifies to this desire to create "machines to inhabit". Thus in line with it, its achievements are functionalist structures, volumes dedicated to organizing the habitable space. In 1954 he launched his furniture publishing house efa (equipement fonctionnelle de l'habitation) with the painter louis soléres and won the rené gabriel prize in 1966 for his creations. Thus this coffee table (dlg) testifies to this search for geometry in space, the study of movement and shapes, proportions and volumes. 60s modernist coffee table two trays, black glass top top and teak main top. Black metal chassis. Normal state of wear, small scratches on the glass top. H 18 and 35 cm X w 100 X d 42 cm.
