Solid walnut sideboard, moustache legs, black marble top.

Two-part sideboard, made entirely of solid walnut, beautifully crafted locally in France, with a focus on materials and assembly techniques, from the 1950s. The legs are moustache-shaped in an Art Deco style. Simple, straight lines characterise this antique piece of furniture. The doors are made of solid wood, with patterns sculpted into the mass, and the handles are metal chrome lock entries. The lower part consists of a sideboard (3 cupboards and 2 drawers) topped with 3 black and white marble surfaces. There are 2 height-adjustable shelves in the side cupboards. The upper part rests on the 2 outer marbles and features a long horizontal mirror at the back, consisting of 2 cupboards framing a display case. There is a height-adjustable solid wood shelf in the side storage, and 1 glass shelf in the display case. A lovely Art Deco style piece in excellent condition, with a sound and robust wooden structure without any defects. There is a white veil on the mirror at the back of the display case and an old restoration on the central marble surface; the crack is barely visible and blends with the veins of the marble. The furniture is in 2 parts, with removable marbles and doors allowing for transport/delivery by 2 people. Measurements of the lower sideboard: 200 cm wide, 100 cm high, 53 cm deep.
