Chair The Surrepos of Doctor Pascaud

Superb armchair "the surrepos" of Doctor Pascaud 1920. Made in France. Rare model. Cook club spirit. Le corbusier provided the reference of this armchair to charlotte perriand as the inspiration base of the lc4 chaise longue model. Tilting seat with articulated mechanism via an elegant wooden wheel. Varnished wooden base in the shape of a crossbow. The articulated armrests open in a butterfly to the outside to get up effortlessly. Removable head rest, leg lift and footrest. Metal authentication origin label. The armchair is complete. Upholstery in good condition, soft and comfortable leather. Note wear due to its 100 years of use including cracked and worn leather in places, a tear without consequence on the left and right edge of the seat, some small tears at the junctions, a plastic cover operating the missing armrests, some missing buttons at the top of the chair, hidden under the headrest. Height 105cm, width 86cm, depth 140cm.
