Small bowl carved from a translucent natural stone, probably onyx or alabaster, with a freeform shape and a striking contrast between rough and polished finishes. The exterior retains the original mineral texture, while the interior is delicately hollowed and polished, revealing the milky and amber hues of the stone. Each face captures light differently, creating a semi-transparent effect typical of limestone and soft quartz. A piece that is both decorative and functional: a catch-all, a jewellery display, or an altar/incense bowl. Details. Material: natural stone (onyx or alabaster) Colour: milky white with light honey reflections. Finish: rough exterior, polished interior. Period: circa 1970–1980 (handcrafted, probably Italian or French) Condition: Very good condition. Some micro-irregularities due to the nature of the stone. Weight: 0.326 kg. Dimensions: 10.5 × 9 cm — H 2 cm.
