Pair of Thonet armchairs

This Boomerang model was manufactured in the 1950s in Czechoslovakia by Thonet as evidenced by its label under the seat. Its beech structure is in excellent condition, with the exception of the slightly marked bottom of the feet and small scratches (very discreet) on the varnish behind the backrest and armrests. The top of the armrests, often very patinated, are here without any trace and appear new. The self-locking straps that make up its seat are always very firm and confer a very good comfort, just like the good inclination of the backrest. The foam cushions covered with a dark green velvet are original and dressed in a beautiful black and white fabric. These recent covers are new and embellished with a zipper. These two armchairs were very well maintained and preserved, they have before them still beautiful decades. Dimensions: W 60 cm X D 65 cm X H 74 cm (seat 40 cm)
