Paola Navone, contemporary Italian eclecticism

Paola Navone (born 1950) is one of the most influential Italian designers and interior architects at the turn of the 21st century. A graduate of the Politecnico di Torino, former artistic director of Abet Laminati then Gervasoni, she has developed for forty years a unique signature: an assumed eclecticism mixing Thai craftsmanship, Milanese design and humble materials. Her sofas and armchairs for Gervasoni, her lamps for Antonangeli and her outdoor furniture pieces have made her one of the most recognisable contemporary designers.

Gervasoni Ghost armchairs and Paola Navone lamps for Antonangeli remain the designer's most identifiable pieces. Contemporary Italian furniture to find for those wanting an eclectic and warm signature.
