Henning Kjærnulf, Danish bent teak chair

Henning Kjærnulf (1925-2008) is a Danish cabinetmaker whose production of chairs and armchairs marked Scandinavian furniture of the second Sixties wave. A designer for Vejle Stolefabrik, Bruno Hansen and EG Møbler, he signed seats where solid teak, rosewood and patinated leather composed a language both rigorous and warm. His no. 84 chair (1964), Razor chair and 255 model chair remain the most identifiable pieces of a quality serial production, rediscovered in recent years.

The no. 84 chair and Razor Chair by Henning Kjærnulf remain the designer's most identifiable pieces. Scandinavian vintage furniture to find for those wanting a serial Danish signature, at still very accessible prices.
