Bruno Gecchelin, Italian designer of Oluce

Bruno Gecchelin (born 1939) is an Italian designer active since the 1970s, whose production of lighting and furniture for Oluce, Skipper, Cassina and Italtel fits within the Milanese tradition of refined industrial design. His Mezzaluna lamp (1973) for Oluce, with its half-moon swivelling shade, and his series of taps for Stella remain his most recognised pieces. A discreet but coherent signature, dialoguing with other Italian designers of the Seventies in the technical and precise vein.

The Mezzaluna Oluce lamp and Bruno Gecchelin pieces for Skipper remain the designer's signature works. Italian vintage lighting to find for those wanting a discreet and technically precise Milanese signature.
