Description
This exceptionally rare dental cabinet was produced by the German brand Emda. It is the 'Emdator' type patented in 1934. The company EMDA factory for electro-medical and dental equipment was founded by Georgian entrepreneur Georg Hartmann (1870-1954) in 1919. In 1934 he designed this model and gave it the nickname 'silent assistan' due to the pedal-controlled lifting mechanism of the emulator dental cabinet. This cabinet was placed freely in the room in the dental practice. The cabinet can be operated from both sides by means of a foot pedal. This allows you to lower a window on both sides to reach the shelves. It is a very extensive item with countless beautiful details. It is special that over the years so much has remained of the cabinet. The round milk glass shelf with a serrated edge can be turned back and forth and the dental instruments lay on it. There is also some original documentation with the cupboard as shown in the pictures.
