AJ Royal Lamp by Arne Jacobsen

Originally designed for the sas royal hotel in copenhagen, the aj royal lamp has maintained its position of one of louis poulsen's most iconic lamps. With the sas royal hotel, arne jacobsen showcased his ability to work on all scales designing not only the building, but its furniture, lighting, and even a custom typeface. With the aj royal lamp, jacobsen followed classic danish design interior lighting principles, reducing direct light while creating a cosy atmosphere. The resulting design is a clean, versatile lamp that fits a kitchen as easily as an office. This lamp is in good condition, with some light wear typical of age and features the original canvas cord and wiring.
