Description
Model chair "Deauville", designed by Marc and Pierre Simon for the dining room of the famous liner France in 1962. The chairs were published by Airborne. These chairs are present in many books such as the book "Le paquebot France" by Armelle Bouchet, p.125, 126, 127, 171 and 173 . Very comfortable and of good quality, the metal structure is in perfect condition as well as the seat. Note that velvet has age-compliant wear especially at armrest levels (see photos) 20 available. Black lacquered tubular metal frame, concave back, full accotoirs. orientable skates. Dimensions: seat height 45 cm, total height: 78 cm, width: 60 cm, depth: 61 cm.
