Seltz Water Bistro Siphon

Old blue siphon of seltz water. For the record, these siphons once stood in our bistros. It was designed to produce a mixture of water and carbon dioxide used to cut various alcohols (absinthe, picon, wine, ...); to do this, it was enough to mix powders of tartaric acid and baking soda with water. A mixture under pressure that was banned in 1955, because of the risk of bursting the bottle. Generally, these siphons are personalized in the name of the lemonadier, this one comes from choisy the king. There is a small breakage under the base but this does not prevent him from standing.
