Very interesting old painting made in oil (so-called knife technique) on panel representing a port, probably from the south of the france. This table is clearly sold as for attribution (no expertise has been carried out). The signature on the work remains confused and difficult to read (see the photo in close-up). The work is nevertheless signed and we find on the back, a handwritten attribution to "gagliardini": the invoice, the technique, the seniority and the theme that can evoke the work of julien gustave gagliardini (1846 -1927), artist very well referenced (sales record at more than 10000 euros and whose view of the côte d'azur sold in 2019 for 4000 euros). An old laminated label possibly locates the work in saint jean cap ferrat (alpes-maritimes in the provence-alpes-côte d'azur region). Good state of conservation given the age of the work. Healthy pictorial layer, a slight cleaning could give this painting a surplus of brightness, panel having played a little but invisible framed. The setting is offered with. Panel dimension: 30 / 36 cm, with frame: 48 / 56 cm.
