Pair of art deco bedsides in lemon tree magnifying glass

Very nice pair of art deco bedsides in lemon magnifying glass veneer from the ceylon from the 40s/50s. These bedsides are of simple and elegant shapes at the same time. The color honey and lukewarm but worth the beautiful tiger motifs of the magnifying glass. The use of lemon wood was generally used for high quality pieces. At the time, the magnifying glass was used as a veneer sheet, a marker by cabinetmakers who appreciated its richness. The structure remains classic but the décor is adept with quality materials, in veneer (unlike the standard furniture often made of solid walnut). The bedsides are in very good original condition, they have simply been checked and cleaned. There are traces of use and patina of time on the tops and very light on the bodies of the parts. There is a small snag on each top that I put into perspective next to a 1-cent coin for the size ratio. The doors work perfectly, the 2 drawers also work (note, a very slight resistance on the left drawer when it is open to the maximum, but that should fade quickly. There are two storage sets on either side of the drawer. Inside the bottom storage there is also an extra shelf. The pognées buttons are made of silver metal with a central glass finish, some cracks of use (see photos) The bedside sits are solid and stable. Drawer size: 28 X 12.
