Moth of Marc Sadler with Foscarini floor lamp

Beautiful lamp in fiberglass and carbon, white and black. Almost new (bought in 2015 at the Bon Marché). Base in chromed metal. Wire with dimmer. Requires a 120-150 watt bulb. From a surprising collaboration between the designer Marc Sadler and Foscarini design luminaires famous brand, the moth series demonstrated technological innovation. Made of veined glass of carbon wire fabric, this very contemporary fixture broadcasts a bright and pleasant lighting. This material made of fiberglass and carbon wire serves as decoration and structure. It is the same technology used for the manufacture of golf clubs. Foscarini was the first manufacturer to use this technology to make a lamp. She received on this occasion the Compass of Oro 2001 Award.
