Founded in 1953 Torben Orskov was probably the first label of modern design in the world. Just like its counterpart a little younger Italian Danese, Ørskov society focused on production of small household items and accessories. In engaging eminent Danish designers like Jorn Utzon, Henning Koppel and Finn Juhl, Ørskov has managed to implement a range of varied and exquisite products. The design and production of the lamp Conus was entrusted to Jørgen Wolf.
