Walnut farmtable, 19th

Very nice farm table of the 19th century, walnut, superb patina, waxed finish. Its magnificent 187cm by 89cm deep plateau can accommodate up to 8 seats. Surprising assembly of the tray consisting of 3 planks mounted with twisted keys (2x4 pegs visible on the tray) and 2 deadening emboss at the ends. A reinforcement board had been placed under the tray to the left of the drawers, and attached with bolts... The drawers were previously taken over, the solid bottoms do not appear to be original, and one of the handles has been reinforced with a screw and a tightening butterfly. As for the feet, they have been restored and grafted, but the restoration is difficult to restore. These few rather risky restorations made by an amateur ... bring a certain charm and are also part of the history of this table. She was treated with a product against xylophageal insects. Aerial with the incredible overflows of its plateau, its turned footwork adds finesse and elegance to the ensemble. Dimensions: 81cm high, 187cm wide and 89cm deep, there is 62cm under the crossbar.
