Jo Hammerborg "Kubus" hanging lamp for Fog & Morup, Denmark 1961

For sale this stunning and very rare danish "kubus" triple pendant light designed by Johannes Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup in 1961. The chandelier consists of three different coloured lacquered steel shades, in a fabulous mid-century palette of blue, orange and a greyish white and the lights are suspended from a teak boomerang yoke, allowing for either a cascading or a level hang. In working order and in good vintage condition, with expected age related wear and patina. Of note, the insides of the shades have got some minor rust spots to the white paintwork but absolutely nothing to overly detract. The maximum drop for a level hang would be 110cm and up to 150cm if cascading.
