Ancient painting, still life with fruit and jug signed Richard, dated 1939

Ancient table, oil on panel representing a still life with apples or peaches around a jug. It is signed at the bottom right richard and dated 39 for 1939. It has a brown and black wood frame that presents accidents. The paint has a small scratch and some small lack of material on the edges. See photos. It deserves a new, more modern setting that hides the small gaps on the edges and gives even more cachet to this pretty subject. On the back a label of a lyon framer and two traces of tampons. Size: frame l 35 cm h 26 cm. panel l 22 cm h 16 cm. Sending fast and neat.
