Description
The bitossi art ceramics factory - which became "ceramiche flavia" in the 1970s - was founded in 1921 by guido bitossi in montelupo fiorentino, aldo londi's hometown (1911-2003). He joined bitossi at a very young age, and was its artistic director from 1946 to 1976 and later chairman of the board of directors. His talent helped propel the production into modernity and his famous "rimini blu", of which we have here a beautiful copy in perfect condition, gave him a worldwide notoriety. It is now one of the largest collections.
