1980s “Diego” book case / divider by Jürgen Lange for Interlübke, Germany

A unique book case or room divider, model “diego”, designed by jürgen lange and manufactured by interlübke in germany around 1980. This high catching piece has a white lacquered metal base and four black wooden shelves. Each shelf has a white metal bookrest for additional support. What makes this piece so unique, is that it is designed sideways and creates to rest against the wall from the side. This adds a very appealing touch to it’s style and makes it a really decorative addition to the decor! Not only as a book case, but also as a room divider this piece has the potential to truly add to the interior. It has the manufacturer’s label stickered to the frame, as shown in photos. It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a lovely patina.
